Veterans to be honored at bull riding event in Chillicothe

Veterans will be honored during the Riding for Our Veterans Battle at the Grand Bull Riding at Chillicothe next month.

The event will be held at the Litton Ag Center on June 7th and 8th with gates opening at 5 o’clock, and Pegasus Trick Rider performing at 6 o’clock each evening.

Registration for mutton busting, sponsored by TPAQ Screen Printing, will start at 6 o’clock, and the first 20 children will participate at 6:30. The main show will start at 7:30 with the Faith Renewed Drill Team scheduled to perform. There will also be a mini bull, sponsored by Koehler Home Sales, and a mechanical bull by Rare Air Entertainment.

The Livingston County Vet Association will have concessions available with proceeds going to the building fund. A meet and greet will be held June 8th from 10 o’clock to noon.

Tickets for the Battle at the Grand Bull Riding can be purchased in advance online at THIS LINK, at the Chillicothe Bootery, or the Trenton Orscheln. Advance tickets cost $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for children six to 12 years old. Tickets at the gate will cost $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for children. Children five and younger will be admitted for free.

Amped Up Productions Pro Bull Riding will produce and sanction the event. Generational Buildings, LLC and the Orscheln of Chillicothe and Trenton sponsor it.
