Two events are coming up at Mercer, Missouri this Saturday May 14.
Mercer American Legion Auxiliary Ladies will be hosting a Veteran’s program at 10:00 am at the Mercer American Legion Hall Ragan-Hickman Post #477.
Those with 50-60-70 years of membership will be honored at the program. Dinner will follow the program. It’s an eat what you want pay what you want format. Winners of the Poppy contest will be honored. Poppies also will be on sale. All veterans and family are invited as well as the public.
Mercer Homecoming Committee is having a ATV race May 14.
Registration at 2:00 pm races at 4:00 pm. It’s described as Horseshoe/Straight drag at the Mercer Homecoming Park one half mile north of Mercer on Highway 65. The event starts with power wheels battery operated class, and they have added a side by side class. Concessions on grounds. Admission $5.00, 8 years and under and free.
