Veteran counselor, service officer to be at VFW Hall March 3

A Veterans Center Counselor and a Trenton area Veterans Service Officer will be at the VFW Hall in Trenton March 3rd from 9 o’clock in the morning to 1 o’clock in the afternoon.

The counselor will provide free confidential help to veterans and family of active duty military.

Topics discussed include stress management, post traumatic stress disorder, and marriage counseling.

The Veterans Service Officer will help veterans and active military with any Veterans Affairs paperwork.

Veterans are encouraged to bring all VA or military separation paperwork they may have.

The Veterans Service Officer will also be available to help with paperwork at the Trenton Hy-Vee March 6th from 9 o’clock in the morning to 1 o’clock in the afternoon.

He can be contacted at 660-359-2078 Monday through Friday from 8 o’clock in the morning to 5 o’clock in the afternoon.

VA shuttle drivers are needed to drive people to appointments as well.

Drivers must pass physical and background checks.
