Two vehicles collided yesterday on Mirable road in Caldwell County injuring one person.
The highway patrol reports 36-year-old Matthew Maier of Polo received minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was a passenger in a sports utility vehicle driven by 62-year-old Stephen Maier of Polo.
The patrol said Maier was westbound while a pickup driven by 24-year-old Alexandria Templeton of Kingston was eastbound. As the pickup approached the crest of a hill just east of Mirable, the patrol said it partially crossed into the opposite lane. Impact occurred on the driver’s side of both vehicles which were demolished yesterday morning according to the accident report.
Neither driver was reported injured. All three persons were using seat belts.
