UPDATE: Kirksville police identify man killed in early morning shooting

(Kirksville, Missouri) – Kirksville Police have identified the individual who died, from an apparent gunshot wound, in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 14, 2016.

The victim was identified as Shane’te Glasgow, 27, of Brookfield, Missouri

The initial incomplete/unofficial autopsy suggests that the cause of death was a single gunshot to the head.

Although the investigation is still in its early stages, the Kirksville Police Department is not actively searching for anyone. 

The incident is still under active investigation and more information will be released as soon as it becomes appropriate.
