The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two Trenton men on unrelated charges.
Twenty-one year old Tristan Lee Vencill was arrested for a probation violation on original misdemeanor charges of hindering prosecuting as well as making a false affidavit to mislead a public servant. He posted his bond of $5,000 cash.
Thirty-two-year-old Cory Jack Burchett was arrested for misdemeanor second-degree property damage. His bond is $2,000 cash only, and he was a current jail inmate.
Court documents accuse Burchett of damaging a back window of a Cadillac Escalade owned by Diane Hoppe by throwing a rock at it.
Both men are scheduled for the Associate Division of circuit court September 26th.
