Two persons received what the highway patrol called minor injuries when a van went off a road east of Avalon and came to rest on its top.
The driver, 32-year old Jennifer Spainhour, and a passenger, 65-year old Gloria Abala, both of hale, refused treatment at the scene.
The accident happened Saturday afternoon nearly two miles East of Avalon.
The westbound van crossed the center line, traveled back to the right, off the right side of the road, went back to the left, crossed the center line again, the driver then over corrected, causing the van slide sideways, traveled off the right side of the road, hit a ditch, and overturned, coming to rest on its top.
The vehicle sustained extensive damage.
Both persons were wearing seat belts.
