At approximately 8:40 pm Friday evening, Chillicothe Police officers were dispatched to a non-injury crash in the 400 block of Donaldson Drive.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a vehicle driven by John Lesley Courtney had driven through a business parking lot with his vehicle coming to rest on the railroad tracks. After further investigation, Courtney was arrested for operating a vehicle in an intoxicated condition, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
A passenger in the vehicle, Colton Lester Chaney was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Courtney and Chaney were processed at the Chillicothe Police Department and were then released pending a court appearance.
