Truck collision injures Cameron man

A Cameron man was hurt on Friday when the pickup truck he was driving hit the drivers side of a gravel truck, northwest of Cameron.  Fifty-four year old Larry Brown was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center, with injuries described as moderate by the Highway Patrol.

The collision was around 12 noon on Friday, five miles northwest of Cameron at an uncontrolled intersection.

The pickup was northbound on Hedge Road, and hit the driver’s side of the gravel truck, which was westbound on Frost Road.  The driver of the gravel truck, 57-year old Randall McKee of Ludlow, was not reported hurt.

The pickup was demolished and the gravel truck received moderate damage.  Both men were wearing seat belts.
