Ashley May, an NCMC student from Trenton, recently won a $350 NCMC Foundation Scholarship award sponsored by the TRiO Student Support Services  program.

Current SSS students attend workshops on various enrichment topics, career testing or complete their FAFSAs to earn keys to a treasure chest. During finals week, those who have earned keys have an opportunity to pick a key and try it in the treasure chest lock.

“We are grateful the NCMC Foundation partnered with the SSS program to provide this opportunity for our students. Stated Marcie Cutsinger, Trio Director. “This activity provides additional incentives for our students and a financial reward that helps students better obtain their educational goals at NCMC.”

Money for the scholarship is provided by the NCMC Foundation.
