Nineteen-year-old Trenton teen Jose Barron IV remains in critical condition as of this Tuesday morning.
That according to a representative of the University Hospital in Columbia to whom KTTN News spoke with this morning.
A tragic crash on Monday morning happened as Barron was southbound on Highway 65 in Pettis County which caused him to be life-flighted to the hospital. The car he was in ran off the left side of Highway 65, struck a ditch, and overturned – throwing him through the rear window of the vehicle.
A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help with Barron’s medical expenses. As of 12:30 Tuesday afternoon, $1,300 of a $20,000 goal has been reached.
