Two Trenton residents were hurt early Saturday when a car ran off Highway 6 at Humphreys, hit a fence and a tree, then came to rest in a field.
A passenger, 21-year old Bianca Treadwell of Trenton was transported to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton with moderate injuries. Another passenger, 21-year old Ashley May of Trenton, sought treatment on her own for minor injuries. The driver, 19-year old Travis Leeper of Trenton, was not reported hurt.
The patrol reports Leeper was accused of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving involving an accident, and not wearing a seatbelt.
The patrol reports Ms. May was wearing a seatbelt but the other two occupants were not.
