Trenton schools dismiss early Thursday for parent-teacher conferences

Trenton R-9 school district announces an early dismissal of classes Thursday afternoon October 13th to make time for parent-teacher conferences at the three attendance buildings.

For S-M Rissler school, conferences have been scheduled with parents for the afternoon and evening hours.

Trenton Middle School will release classes at 1:07 pm Thursday.

Parent/Teacher Conferences that same day are from 2 pm until 7 pm.

The 5th & 6th-grade teachers are scheduling appointments only with parents of students not meeting academic requirements. Parents who do not have appointments can come in between 5 and 7 pm on a first come – first served basis.

No appointment is needed for parents to see 7th & 8th-grade teachers or exploratory teachers again between the hours of 2 and 7 pm on Thursday.

All parents should stop by the middle school office before visiting with teachers to pick up their students’ 1st quarter grade report.

At Trenton high school, parents can visit the building from 2 o’clock to 7 o’clock on Thursday to visit with the staff.

There will be no school in the Trenton R-9 District Friday, October 14th or Monday, October 17th. Grade cards not picked up at conferences will be mailed out on Tuesday, October 18th.

Randall Mann

Randall has been with KTTN/KGOZ for almost 20 years. He is the current Engineer for all of the stations, as well as working "on-air" from 6 to 10, am in the morning. Randall does a bit of everything including producing advertisements as well as writing the occasional news article.
