The Trenton R-9 School District, in partnership with Catapult Learning, will offer Summer School for students entering Kindergarten through Ninth grade.
The Summer School, called Summer Journey, is to be held May 22 through June 23.
Application folders are to be sent home with students Monday, April 10 and school officials ask for all students to return the form whether they plan to attend or not. Those not attending are asked to write the students’ name and ”no” on the application form.
The application forms can be returned to any Trenton R-9 School office.
Students returning a form indicating they plan to attend receive a Summer Journey backpack. Supplies are limited so the forms should be returned early.
The curriculum involves math, reading, communication arts, science, social studies, and exploratory classes.
The district will provide breakfast, lunch, and transportation free of charge.
Enrollment information also is available on the Trenton R-9 website.
Questions may be directed by telephone or email to Summer School Administrator E’lisha Gass at Trenton Middle School.
