The Trenton R-9 School District expressed appreciation to the community for its support of Trenton High School Custodian Graham McVay and his nomination for the Cintas Custodian of the Year Contest.
Graham was one of 10 national finalists in the competition, but the school district reports that he did not win. Voting ended Friday night for the Custodian of the Year and the districted says he will receive a $500 check from Cintas.
A news release from Cintas said Graham has served the Trenton School District for 31 years.
