Trenton Police Department arrest two on unrelated charges

The Trenton Police Department arrested two men on unrelated charges Monday.

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports 20-year-old Brandon Kleihauer of Trenton was arrested for misdemeanor fourth-degree domestic assault—first or second offense. His bond was set at $3,500.

Court documents accuse Kleihauer of recklessly causing physical injury to an adult family or household member by striking the person on the chin.

Forty-year-old Benjamin Milazzo of Liberty was arrested for misdemeanor possession of 10 grams or less of marijuana with a prior drug offense as well as felony operating a vehicle on a highway without a valid license—third and subsequent offense. His bonds total $5,500.

Court documents report Milazzo previously pleaded guilty to simple possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Summerton, South Carolina Court as well as possession of drug paraphernalia in Clinton County, Missouri Court.

Documents also report he was convicted of driving without a valid operator’s license in Missouri in Daviess County Circuit Court as well as Grundy County and Clinton County Associate Circuit Courts.

Both are scheduled for the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court October 10th.
