The Trenton Police Department warns of spoofed Apple phone calls targeting local residents.
The police report scammers spoof customer support numbers so calls look like they are from Apple, but they are not. The caller pressures individuals called for information or money.
Anyone who receives an unsolicited call from someone claiming to be Apple is advised to hang up and contact Apple’s support team.
