The Trenton Police Department continues to expand operational plans to ensure that they can provide policing services to the community. In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Trenton Police Department has established several procedural changes. These changes will adhere to the Center of Disease Control guidelines due to the growing concerns as this virus continues to spread in our country and state.

If you require a police response, please contact the Communications Center for non-emergency police matters at (660) 359-5557 or (660) 359-2121. In case of an emergency, dial 911. As part of their Coronavirus response procedure, callers to the Communications Officers will be asked screening questions for community health and well-being reasons.

The safety and security or the citizens and visitors remain the top priority. Depending on the level of police response that is required, Police Officers may resolve your call for service over the telephone or by other means deemed appropriate on a case-by-case basis.

The Trenton Police Department wants to assure everyone that the department is still in full operation to safeguard the citizens of the City of Trenton while working diligently to practice preventative strategies to avoid contracting or spreading the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
