A Trenton man has been arrested on charges accusing him of conspiracy to commit an alleged offense of stealing and unlawful possession of a weapon.

25-year-old Devin Aaron Pierce was arrested Wednesday with bond set at $25,000.

Pierce is to appear September 13th in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court.

Warrants accuse Pierce between March 28th and April 5th of allegedly agreeing with another person that one or both of them would steal a pistol belonging to Debbie Hawman. Pierce also is accused of unlawful possession of a firearm with the prosecutor’s office noting he is a convicted felon under the laws of Missouri.

A Grundy County warrant was issued this week for the arrest of the second person allegedly involved in the conspiracy to commit theft.
