The Trenton Police Department arrested a Trenton man Tuesday on two felony charges.
The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports 41-year-old Mark Allen Romesburg has been charged with attempted tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution and second-degree burglary. His bond is $15,000 cash only, and he is scheduled for the Associate Division of circuit court April 24th.
Court information accuses Romesburg of trying to purposely dissuade a victim of a felony domestic assault offense from making any report of his contact to any law enforcement officer, going to the residence of the victim whom the defendant is to have no contact with pursuant to a court order, and threatening the victim.
