Trenton man arrested on charges of distributing a controlled substance

A 24-year-old Trenton resident, Devin Pierce, was arrested in Jackson county on charges by a Grundy County Grand Jury, accusing him with three counts of distribution of a controlled substance, two of them within two-thousand feet of Trenton R-9 schools.

Pierce is accused of distributing marijuana to a confidential informant at three locations, Eastside Park, in the 14-hundred block of East 9th Street, and at Rural and 12th Streets, on separate dates last November.

Bond on those charges is 25-thousand dollars cash only. Pierce also is accused of probation violation. Bond for that is 15-thousand dollars cash only.

He was being held in the Grundy County detention center, and is to appear in Division One of Grundy County circuit court on June 16th.
