Trenton High School Homecoming planned for September 12 – 16

Trenton High School holds Homecoming week activities Monday through Friday the week of September 12 through the 16 .

Candidates for Homecoming Queen are Seniors Shayla Woodside, Brittany Wilson, and Mason Hooyman. Homecoming King candidates are seniors Austin Burkeybile, Jeffrey White, and Luke Lewis.

Attendants are Juniors Jayden Roeder and Avery Cooksey, Sophomores Sarah Jordan and Matt Sibbit, and Freshmen Shawna Coplen and Mark Trump. Homecoming Prince and Princess are Eli Hoffman and Brooklyn Ray.

Coronation will be held Wednesday night during the pep rally At 7 o’clock at C.F. Russell Stadium, with the Fall sports teams to be introduced.

Classes will be dismissed Friday, September 16th at 1:07 for the Homecoming Parade which begins at the high school parking lot at 2 o’clock. The parade travels north on Normal Street, west on 17th Street, south on Harris Avenue, east on 9th Street to Bulldog Avenue, then back to the high school.

The Grand Marshal for the parade is Marsha Hurst while Donna Dougan is the Unsung Hero

Trenton hosts Milan in the Homecoming football game Friday night, September 16th at 7 o’clock with pre-game activities beginning at 6:20. Homecoming royalty will be introduced and escorted across the field.

A dance is planned after the football game from 9:30 until 11:30 in the high school gymnasium, with admission costing $5.00 for individuals and $10.00 for couples.

Music will be provided by Kevin Klinginsmith and Bailey Studio of Chillicothe is to be available to take pictures for the students to purchase.

Various spirit activities are planned during the week and the high school student council is encouraging students and faculty from all the Trenton schools to be involved in the spirit of homecoming.
