The Trenton High School band placed third in class in the parade and fourth in field show evaluations at the Central Methodist University band day in Fayette last Saturday.

There were nine entries in both of those events in class three.

Trenton was third in its class in the indoor drumline evaluations with five entries in the competition.

Trenton Band Director Tim Gilham called it a good day noting there’s been substantial growth this year as musicians and performers.

The band will be performing on an exhibition basis at the Missouri Day Band Festival on Saturday, October 15 in Trenton. Performances are in parade, field show, indoor color guard, and indoor drumline.
