The Trenton High School Band and auxiliary placed second at competitions held Saturday in Macon.
According to R-9 Band Director Anthony Webb, the parade placed second in its class for the parade. The Trenton color guard won an outstanding caption award.
Trenton also was second for the indoor color guard and indoor drumline as well as the field show.
Director Webb said the Trenton band performed extremely well on Saturday in what he called tough competitions.
