At approximately 12:40 pm on Monday, August 15th Firefighters responded with Grundy County EMS, Grundy County Sheriffs Department, and Trenton Police Department personnel to a situation at Upper Lake Trenton.
An adolescent boy found himself stranded in the lake after his boat became entangled in something under the water. Firefighters provided a rope to a bystander in a kayak, who paddled out and secured it to the stranded boat, allowing rescue personnel to dislodge it and pull it to a nearby dock.
