Trenton FFA Chapter to participate in National FFA Week with a variety of activities

The Trenton FFA Chapter will participate in several events during National FFA Week next week.

Members will meet for breakfast at the First Baptist Church Sunday morning at 8:15. Pictures will follow. Members are asked to wear official dress for the church service at 9:30.

Senior FFA officers will be on KTTN’s Open Line Monday morning at 9:33. Members will also serve ice cream to Trenton High School students and staff during school lunch shifts Monday.

FFA members can park their best truck or tractor at the Rock Barn Tuesday morning by 7:15 for Truck and Tractor Day. Students are encouraged to wear their favorite tractor-colored t-shirt.

Official Dress Day is Wednesday, and members will wear their official dress all day. A group picture will be taken in the THS gym before school Wednesday at 7:45.

Greenhand Initiation and Farmer/Farm Animal Day is next Thursday. Greenhands need to be in the Ag Room between 7:45 and Pride Time Thursday morning. FFA members are encouraged to dress as their favorite farm animals or farmer.

The Friends, Supporters, and Faculty Breakfast will be held in the Metcalf Building at the Barton Farm Campus next Friday morning from 6:30 to 8 o’clock. Trenton FFA members will cook and serve the free meal.

A pizza party will be held Friday for members who participate in at least three activities during FFA Week and wear full official dress Wednesday. Members are encouraged to represent Trenton FFA by wearing their FFA t-shirts and/or hoodies.
