Trenton Chamber of Commerce announces recipients of annual awards

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce has announced annual award recipients to be honored at its annual banquet.

Those being honored this year are M. G. Kennedy and Dan Wilford, have been named as Pillars of the Community, the Trenton Elks Lodge is the Organization of the Year, and Vintage Vines and Black Silo Winery are the Businesses of the Year. They will be recognized at the “Wild Safari”-themed event at Ketcham Community Center of Trenton March 27th.

Social time will begin at 5:30 with a Jungle Mocktail Station, a buffet dinner catered by Trenton Hy-Vee will start at 6 o’clock. The meal will include grilled sirloin, baked chicken, twice baked potatoes, salad, dinner rolls, and dessert.

The chamber previously announced Doctor Tim Crowley, trains companies and organizations across the country, will be the featured speaker.

There will also be a fundraising live auction, 50/50 raffle, a safari-themed photo booth with a professional photographer, and other entertainment.

Everyone is welcome to attend the banquet on March 27th, and chamber membership is not required. Tickets cost $35.00 for an individual. Gold table sponsors are $500, and silver table sponsors are $320.
