The Trenton Building and Nuisance Board and Finance Committee will meet next week.

The Building and Nuisance Board will discuss nine properties at the Trenton City Hall Monday evening at 6 o’clock. Of those properties, two each are listed under declaration of a nuisance and public hearing, five properties under findings of fact, and none under a certificate of existence of a dangerous building.

Unfinished business on the agenda also includes asbestos abatement bid openings for structures already identified for future demolition, an update on 2019-2020 demolition and hazardous material abatement approval, and approval of a demolition list.

New business is to include updates on two current structures and an update on nuisances.

The Trenton Finance Committee will hold a workshop for the 2020-2021 budget at the Trenton City Hall Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock. City Clerk Cindy Simpson says the committee will go over the street and police department budgets.
