Trenton area Boy Scouts to hold annual “Scouting for Food” drive

Scouts from the Trenton area hold their annual “Scouting for Food” campaign October 29th.

Collection bags will be distributed this Saturday, October 22nd for pickup on October 29th beginning at 9 o’clock that morning.

All non-perishable food, personal hygiene, paper products, and cleaning supplies will be donated to the Grundy County Food Pantry. Food items with an expiration date of less than one month cannot be used and any donated items also should not be dented.

Suggested food items include canned meats, vegetables, and soups, cereals, crackers, and boxes of any “helper” type products including hamburger, tuna, and chicken.

Scouts and parents participating in this Saturday’s distribution of bags are asked to meet at the Wesley United Methodist Church Saturday morning at 9 o’clock.
