Rachel Tozier, a native of Pattonsburg, represented Team USA at the Paris Summer Olympics, competing in the women’s trap shooting event.
After two days of competition, Tozier finished 18th out of 30 participants, demonstrating her skills on an international platform. On the first day of the event, she ranked 12th, ultimately making her the highest-ranked female trap shooter from the United States in the Olympics.

Her introduction to shooting began in 2006, guided by her stepfather, who had her shoot every gauge of shotgun in a single day. What started as a family activity quickly grew into a passion for American Trap and later international trap shooting.
