Trenton Municipal Utilities continues flushing of fire hydrants to assist in updating fire protection records.
Monday, October 30 through Friday, November 3 work will begin in the area located south of 17th Street and between the Railroad tracks and Highway 65. The work will take place between the hours of 7:30 in the morning through 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
During this annual flushing of hydrants, customers can expect some discolored water, as well as air in their house services and, are advised to use caution when doing laundry. Over the next few weeks, it will be necessary to run the tap water until it is clear and not do laundry until the water clears.
