Tina-Avalon FFA will host a critter hunt as a fundraiser for the Washington Leadership Conference.

Teams of three members should register at the Tina Community Hall on the evening of January 24th from 4 to 7 o’clock. Rules and points per critter will be texted that night at 7 o’clock. The critter hunt will be open during legal shooting hours from that time to the night of January 25th at 7 o’clock.

A post-hunt check-in will begin at the Tina Community Hall on the night of January 25th, and participants must be in line no later than 7 o’clock. Ranking will be determined by most points, and ties will be broken by weight. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, with first-place receiving 20% of the pot, second place 15%, and third place 10%. Door prizes were donated by several area businesses.

Participants must dispose of their own carcasses, and all conservation rules and regulations apply. No trapping or roadkill will be allowed.

Teams may preregister for the Tina-Avalon FFA Critter Hunt before January 24th, but the entry fee of $120 per team must be received by 7 o’clock that night. The fee can be paid by check or cash and mailed to Tina-Avalon FFA, 11896 U. S. Highway 65, Tina, Missouri 64682. The team name, each member’s name, and phone numbers should be sent with the fee.
