Three waive preliminary hearings during Tuesday session of Grundy County court

Three defendants waived preliminary hearings on Tuesday in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court.

Spickard resident John Ervin Peterson has been charged with two counts of receiving stolen property on February 16th. St. Joseph resident Kellie Sue Holtman faces two counts from January 27th: stealing a motor vehicle and stealing of $750 or more. Both Peterson and Holtman are to appear Thursday in Division One of the circuit court in Trenton.

Leisure Lake resident Dana Rene Thibodeau is scheduled for an April 20th appearance in Division One on two counts: unlawful use of a loaded weapon while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child which both took place on November 30th.

Trenton resident Justin Taul has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault in the fourth degree February 24th. On a plea agreement, Taul was given credit for serving 14 of a 15-day sentence at the Grundy County Jail and is to be released today (Wednesday). He also was ordered to pay court costs and $100 to the law enforcement restitution fund.
