Three from Trenton arrested including married couple

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a married couple from Trenton and another Trenton resident on January 6th.

Thirty-seven-year-old Lynnsey Marie Betz has been charged with the felonies of possession of a controlled substance and delivery or possession of a controlled substance at a county or private jail or correctional center except with prescription.

Court documents accuse her of possessing methamphetamine as well as possessing heroin on the premises of the Grundy County Law Enforcement Center.

Prosecuting Attorney Kelly Puckett considers Lynnsey Betz to be a prior and persistent offender. She is punishable by a sentence to an extended term of imprisonment in that she was convicted of two or more felonies at different times. Those convictions include in Harrison County Circuit Court in March 2018 of second-degree burglary and stealing $25,000 or more and in Grundy County Circuit Court in July 2012 of second-degree burglary and stealing.

Forty-one-year-old Daniel Michael Betz has been charged with the felony of receiving stolen property.

Court documents accuse him of receiving and retaining a Yellow generator, knowing the property had been stolen and with the purpose to deprive the owner of it.

Puckett also considers Daniel Betz to be a prior and persistent offender. He is punishable by a sentence to an extended term of imprisonment in that he was convicted of two or more felonies at different times. Those convictions include in Harrison County Circuit Court in March 2018 of second-degree burglary and stealing $25,000 or more and in Grundy County Circuit Court in January 2014 of second-degree burglary.

The bonds for the Betzes are $15,000 cash only for each.

Forty-one-year-old Caleb Ray Ingraham has been charged with misdemeanor first-degree trespass. His bond is $1,500 cash only.

Court documents accuse Ingraham of entering and remaining unlawfully in an inhabitable structure at 1850 East Eighth Street possessed by Keri Waggoner.

The Betzes and Ingraham are scheduled for the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court on January 11th.
