Three area individuals placed under arrest on Thursday

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of three area individuals in unrelated incidents on Thursday.

Thirty-six-year-old Scott Purscell of Trenton was arrested for misdemeanor fourth-degree assault.  Court documents accuse him of causing physical contact to someone knowing that person would regard the contact as offensive or provocative.

Twenty-year-old Jacob Dalton Nunn of Brookfield was arrested for misdemeanor fourth-degree domestic assault. Court documents accuse him of recklessly causing physical pain to a family or household member by striking the victim multiple times in the face, head, and neck.

The bonds for Purscell and Nunn are set at $2,500 cash only for each and both are scheduled for the Associate Division of circuit court October 24th.

Eighteen-year-old Breanna Clevenger of Jamesport was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana as well as misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Her bond is $15,000 cash only, and she is scheduled for circuit court Division One November 16th.

Court documents accuse Clevenger of possessing methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia consisting of medical syringes, spoons, an elastic band, and a straw.
