The third annual Grandmas Ride is scheduled this year for May 6th in Trenton with all riders gathering at Chumbleys. Cissy Wilcoxson says that the ride will begin at 12 Noon with registration starting at 11:00 am that Sunday ending at the Chula Bar and Grill.
The fundraiser will offer a plethora of goodies at the event including bandanas at $10.00 and koozies for $5.00. A raffle will also be held with tickets priced at $1.00 each or six for $5.00. Topping the fundraiser off is a silent auction and a whole hog feast priced at just $10.00 per plate with kids twelve and under free. The events following Grandma’s ride kick off at 5:30 at the Chula Bar and Grill with D-LO providing entertainment.
All proceeds from the event go to the Trenton Fire Department to assist them with promoting fire safety or as Wilcoxson says “Whatever the fire department needs in order to help save a life. After all, it’s all about the kids.”
