The Grand River Historical Society Museum to hold quarterly meeting

The Grand River Historical Society Museum will hold their quarterly meeting on Tuesday, January 10 with a program presented by Ed Milbank covering the history of Milbank Mills Inc. the oldest continually operating business in Chillicothe. 

 

Milbank Mills was founded in 1867  by George Milbank and the fourth generation of his family manages the firm.  The program is part of a series featuring local institutions which have been very popular with members and Chillicothe residents. 
 
The meeting will begin at 6:30 with dinner consisting of Jeff Clemens pork loin with all the trimmings at a cost of $10.00.  The program will begin at approximately 7:30 immediately following the meal.  To make reservations call the Museum at 646-1341 or Ron Wilder at 646-0502.
 
This is also the meeting when changes in the Museum board membership are voted on by lifetime members.
