The highway patrol said a truck driver was injured when the tractor-trailer he was driving ran off Putnam County Route U and overturned Monday afternoon.
The patrol said 18-year-old Gustin Valentine of Powersville was ejected and transported to Wayne County Community Hospital in Corydon, Iowa with moderate injuries.
The big rig was demolished in the accident three miles to the northwest of Unionville. The report noted the teenager was not using a seat belt.
