Teen arrested in Caldwell County

The highway patrol reports the arrest of a teenager from Liberty Thursday afternoon in Caldwell County.

Multiple charges are pending against 18-year-old Trayton Shinneman of Liberty.

The highway patrol reports Shinneman is accused of felony possession of a controlled substance involving pills, driving while revoked, speeding, marijuana possession (11 to 35 grams) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

He also was served with a warrant accusing him of failure to appear in Clay County court on a traffic violation.

Shinneman was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center for a 24-hour hold.
