A tax levy hearing and board meeting has been rescheduled for August 25th in the administrator’s office of Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.

That’s because there was a lack of a quorum for the Monday afternoon session.

On August 25th at 10 o’clock that morning, citizens may be heard regarding the proposed property tax levy of 15 cents on the 100 dollars of assessed valuation. That’s the same rate as last year. The rate is projected to generate 186 thousand dollars in local tax revenue for the nursing home and apartments.

The agenda remains the same for the upcoming meeting August 25th of the Grundy County Nursing Home District Board of Directors. That includes tax levy discussion, personnel policies, and reports.
