Preliminary data from the Missouri Department of Conservation shows that young hunters ages 6 through 15 harvested 18,158 deer during Missouri’s early youth portion of the 2019 deer hunting season Saturday and Sunday. Scouting for Food drive matches donations from 2018
The “Scouting for Food” drive on Saturday in Trenton collected 1,560 pounds of donated non-perishable food items, paper products, and personal hygiene items for the Grundy County Food Pantry. That’s the same weight as last year from donations in residential areas in Trenton.
