Highway patrol arrests Unionville man
The Highway Patrol reports the arrest of a Unionville man in Putnam County Saturday on several allegations. The Patrol accused 31-year-old Dillon Pittman of driving while intoxicated, no insurance, careless and imprudent driving, and no valid license. Pittman was transported to the Putnam County Jail and released.

Smithfield will host a tailgate meal Friday evening prior to Princeton High School’s football game. The meal will include pulled pork, potato salad, baked beans, and cookies. The event prior to Princeton hosting Putnam County at 7 pm, starts at 5:30 with a cost of $5 per plate.
