Laredo Board of Aldermen meet

The Laredo Board of Aldermen conducted the clerk’s annual employee evaluation at its meeting Monday. The pay rate increased three percent to $13.88 per hour. Four candidates filed for two two-year terms Alderman-at-Large positions: Derek Eckert and Cassidy Russell as well as incumbents Brett Mathews and Saundra Marrs.

The Laredo R-7 Board of Education approved an operating tax levy Monday evening for the April ballot. Administrator Misty Foster reports the levy is for $1.40 and would run for five years.
