Newtown-Harris School Superintendent to retire June 30, 2019

The Newtown-Harris R-3 Board of Education has accepted the retirement of Superintendent Doctor Kim Johnson. Johnson’s last day with the district will be June 30th. Principal Dustin Freeman says the board will advertise the Superintendent position. In Wednesday’s announcement, the Newtown-Harris R-3 School District and Board of Education wished Johnson well.

Several area school districts will hold graduation ceremonies Friday evening, May 10, 2019. Four seniors will graduate from North Daviess R-3 at 6 o’clock with Business and Technology teacher Jonathon Elder will giving the commencement address.
