Spickard resident Jesse (Jess) Richmond has announced his resignation from two positions, that of Mayor of Spickard and as President of the Spickard Special Road District. Richmond said the resignations are due to health reasons with his resignation effective, he stated, as of Monday.

The Princeton and Gallatin high schools held Homecoming coronations Wednesday. In Princeton, Logan Krohn was named King, and Sidney Weber was named Queen.
