Mercer County Public Water Supply District Number 1 has issued a boil advisory for a portion of northern Mercer County. Customers from the Iowa state line to Aurora Street and from Route W to Bird Avenue will be under the boil advisory until further notice.

A spokesman for Serve Mercer County, Abner Neill, reports a total of 14 projects were completed Sunday at various locations in the county. He also reported there were 91 people who volunteered.
