The highway patrol reports the driver was injured when a pickup truck hit a cow on a Caldwell County road early this morning at around 1:20 am. 26-year-old Lucas Morrill of Braymer was taken by ambulance to the Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe with moderate injuries.
