A power outage affected the Lake Area and the southeastern part of Trenton on Wednesday morning, January 20th. City Administrator/Utility Director Ron Urton reports a short in an underground wire at the south substation caused the outage, which lasted about 30 minutes.

Power outage occurs in Trenton on Tuesday evening
A tree limb falling on a power line caused a power outage in part of Trenton on Tuesday evening, January 5th. City Administrator/Utility Director Ron Urton reports power went off about 7 o’clock in the Lake Area, north of 28th Street, and east of Oklahoma Avenue. Power was restored about an hour later.

Chillicothe police dispatched to unresponsive subject
Chillicothe Assistant Police Chief Rick Sampsel reports officers on Friday morning assisted emergency services with a 50-year-old unresponsive subject in the ten-block of Lakeview Drive. The Livingston County Coroner’s Office was contacted and took control of the body. An investigation was underway, no name was released pending the outcome of the investigation.
