The Spickard Fire Protection District provided mutual aid for Grundy County Rural Fire Protection District Monday night before the storms. Spickard Training Officer Jesse Richmond reports firefighters responded to a grass and timber fire east of Route Y near its junction with O. Richmond says the burn ban for Spickard is still in effect.
