Deer stand fire kills Carrollton man
A 71-year-old man died Saturday from getting burned in a deer stand that caught on fire near Carrollton. The deer stand was about four feet off the ground. The state Public Safety Department says the fire is considered accidental and involved the man using a camping-style propane heater. The victim’s identity is unknown.
